Month of tribute to Gan-Gan. 1 of my most vivid memory was my gran combing my hair, plaiting it down in my face and saying she not combing down my brain. I used to bex nuh bull cause I was the only 1 with hair comb like that. B4 too long I learned to plait the front 1 because I was Different already without having the hair standing up in my Forehead singling me out.
Strangely enough I have no Memory of my Granny b4 we moved to GaGa Street. However I recalled other things/incidents when we lived where I was born at Townhead. God bless my Granny for all she done for me that I’d not appreciate at the time.
