I was under the weather lying in bed on Tuesday when I had the chance to watch Horizon – Living with Autism by Professor Uta Frit. This programme was a real eye opener for me as it transported me back to the time, I had my first encounter with getting an insight in autism. This was an article in the Nursery World which I kept to date. I have since gone on to do studies to enhance knowledge and expertise. I realised that because of lack of knowledge children with diverse and complex needs are not getting support via early intervention strategies. Growing up and struggling throughout life with what I call my Hidden Disability that is one of the primary reasons I am so passionate about inclusion. Glad I found this group.

Call for ‘shared sites’ to bring young and old together 05 January 2018 by Meredith Jones Russell
A new report has called for the introduction of 500 intergenerational shared sites to unite young and old people and counter ‘age apartheid’.

According to think tank United for All Ages in its ‘Mixing Matters’ report published today (5 January 2018), urgent action is needed to create 500 shared sites across the country by 2022 to tackle growing social divides in ‘Brexit Britain’.
In the report’s analysis of recent research, it found that Britain is one of the most age segregated countries in the world, particularly for the oldest and youngest generations, and said this gap has widened over the last 50 years.
United for All Ages made three key recommendations for bringing older and younger people together:
Building multigenerational communities: supporting community businesses, making public spaces more accessible, opening community facilities to all ages, co-locating childcare and eldercare schemes Mutual support through two-way relationships: online mentoring of younger people, advocacy for older people needing health and social care, ‘homeshare’ schemes where younger people live with older people, increased interaction between grandfathers and grandchildren Better communication between generations: establishing a national council for all ages supported by an intergenerational convention, building bridges between generations using arts activities and street parties. According to the think tank, shared sites such as housing schemes for the elderly co-located with nurseries should be prioritised in the fight to beat age segregation.
The ‘Mixing Matters’ report highlights the growth of shared sites in 2017, including the first ‘care-home nursery’ at Apples and Honey Nightingale in south west London, and mentions the significance of the Channel 4 programme ‘Old People’s Home for Four Year Olds’ in raising awareness of intergenerational projects.
Director of United for All Ages Stephen Burke said, ‘Brexit Britain is dogged by divisions – we are divided by class, income, race, geography and age. The mistrust that arises from such divisions is fuelled by the lack of connection between different generations. This can breed myths and stereotypes, misunderstanding, ageism, and exclusion. That’s why we believe mixing matters.
‘The joy of mixing can unite Brexit Britain in these divided times. As surveys repeatedly show, older and younger generations have much more in common than some would have us believe. Now’s the time to make shared sites happen because mixing matters for everybody.’

Update’s 26 May 2019: I have gone a long way since I write this in setting up my business. I have set up numerous Pages on Facebook, in addition to Social Media Platforms and Google. My card refers to me as “Mental Health & SEND Advocate”. With “Breaking Down Barriers” as my mission to promoting inclusion by sharing stories of my experiences. I was advised to add “Mental Wellbeing Advisor for Experts by Experience” as well.
My Page will showcase my Continuing Personal Professional Developmental Plan (CPPDP) and Intellectual Properties. That I am hoping to copyright to take back control of my work over the years, working in the UK. My creative talents and initiatives that were used over the years in contributing to building brands for former employers and mentoring of others. I will be focussing on my own personal experiences from childhood. When I was brought up in a home by my extended families, with parents who were Christians. I was raised from the old-fashioned values and beliefs of my parents that it takes a village to raise a child. And not to spare the rod and spoil the child, as I am a testament to good parenting skills. The parenting skills from the teachings of the Bible, with a few old wife’s tales thrown in for good measures.
Coming to the UK afforded me with the opportunities to enhance knowledge, gain additional experiences, studying, training, and working in several sectors. I was empowered to develop the capitals needed to help me become qualified to the highest levels as an Early Years Practitioner. I have qualifications in Health & Social Care, done trainings to be a SENCO, EYFS Coordinator, Multigenerational Working Approach Facilitator, and a Volunteer. I have done additional trainings as a Volunteer and a Learning Support Assistant and have done volunteering with different age ranges. I have been enhancing knowledge, doing trainings with providers. Also, with other Charitable Organisations and with the LEAs, online and at Annual Shows and Conferences. The most recent is for “The Expert Patients Programme” as I am now a Carer.
Hopefully, I will be able to go back into using my passion for writing, photography and doing research to making my dreams becoming the visions of realities as an Advocate of Inclusion. By writing and sharing my stories about how I can still be overcoming some of the adversities, challenges, deficits, and limitations that prevented me from achieving my potentials when I was attending school. I will be seen as an inspirational and motivating influencer, for whom giving up was not an option.
One of my mantras is ambition can take you through the world. I grew up in poverty because of several things that were/are beyond the human control. That is only one of the reasons which spurred me on, ensuring I helped each one who has ever asked for my support in any ways needed. My passion for working with young children is second to none as I get a sense of pride, knowing I help to lay foundations.
That is why I can sit back with pride even though I have been forced out of the job I love and congratulate myself on my achievements. Now I am a Carer, I know I am an Expert Authority on subjects from the cradle to the grave and it would be a waste if I did not share my knowledge and expertise with others. That is why I am putting my stories and experiences out in the public domain so others can benefit. My talents and creativities are many and I will be using them to help others. On Valentine’s Day 14th February 2014 the 34th years since my Dad was laid to rest. I LOVE di 2 a unuh the same way U Love Me… LIKE HOW FLY LOVE SHIT! Hope I make myself clear enough?
I am using my gifts to do what do best and pay homage to the people who played important role in my life. Today I salute the Rev SS MCKOY who christen me and my siblings at the Townhead Baptist Church. A life dedicated to the service of GOD. RIP.
When my Role is Called up Yonder, I’ll be There. Welcome to my life, one which I know is my duty to serve.
Celebrating the life of my #MOTHER, serves to remind me of her life of servitude to others from a Young Lady. She never let anyone, or anything get in her way. It could not have been easy for her, but she carried on regardless. Never complaining or let the emotions get in the way.
As we are preparing for #FathersDay celebrating, I know how much #MamaLou play both role to the best of her ability. I am sorry about the times I question her loyalty, love, and anything else that came into my unlearned, ignorant head that was thinking about myself, other than the needs of others.
I am at that stage in my life when I am always reflecting on MAMA, for the sacrifice she made for her #Family and friends. GOD provided my #Father with my MOTHER for the exclusive reasons I’m with my #Husband. To be there in time of need.
I am lucky in so many ways in comparison to what my Mother had to go through. I will not say that I know how she done her work, never once neglected her duties. Now I am well aware of the #PassiveAggressions directed at anyone who fall foul of her. But it is understandable. She never found the love she shares with my Father… But Mama is/was the Strongest Woman I know, without knowing her during her lifetime as I ought to. I refuse to live the rest of my life in regret about the things I have no control to change.
Whatever I do now is in her memory as I try to live my life as an example to her. Therefore, when I am tired, I know I must find the strength from somewhere to keep going. I cannot afford to fall by the wayside, or I will be letting others down. My Mama did not let anyone down except herself.
That is why I can understand why when she forgot her only daughter, she never forgets the Man she LOVE after she lost my Father after spending the best part of 10+ years caring for him.
Luckily, I have my memories of my MOTHER to keep me going, when the going got tough. I am a better person for sharing the experiences my Mama must go through most of her life. I am on Night Duty even more regularly these days and I do not know how long it will last. So, I am preparing for the long haul. I am aware how much my #Husband is relying on me and that is the way it is. He has always been there for me.

June O’Sullivan MBE, CEO of London Early Years Foundation, was recently shortlisted for the Veuve Cliquot Social Purpose Award. UK Fundraising asked her about her success in establishing the social enterprise and in generating income.
Q. What was your reaction to being one of the finalists for the Veuve Clicquot Social Purpose Award this year?
I was delighted to be nominated as a Veuve Clicquot finalist. What’s more, it was particularly important that both social enterprises and childcare businesses are finally being recognised.
Q. Growing a new organisation is often one of the biggest fundraising challenges, how did you approach that?
We don’t fundraise in the traditional way. We have built a business model that enables us to use the fee strategy and cost controls to subsidise nearly 40% of children who come from poor and disadvantaged homes. We also ensure our model drives not just through our fee approach but also because we run nurseries in poor neighbourhoods as well as managing local authority contracts where we actively support children with additional learning needs or those subject to child protection concerns.
Q. What helped you choose the social enterprise model against the traditional charity format for your organisation?
I chose a social enterprise model because I realised that supporting children to access nursery education should be a business and not a charity. This needed to give me the ability to plan and innovate. I thought the dependency on an old-fashioned funding model would not work.
Q. Did you have a clear fundraising strategy at the beginning?
I wanted to build a model which had a core business model that delivered a triple bottom line; economic, social and environmental. I wanted us to have this as core to our business model. I wanted that approach rather than trying to make profit that could be used to support charitable projects.
That was too dependent on the annual profit, how people wanted to use it and more short term than an actual model where the purpose was core and profit would be used to strengthen the existing model.
Q. It’s interesting that you use the phrase “profitable” about a charity. Do you think that this focus has contributed to you and your organisation’s success?
Many charities, I’ve found, tend not to speak of being profitable. For me it’s all about adding value to the core. Profit is the word that drives business.
Without it I can’t deliver improvement, pay for research, test new ideas, give staff pay rises etc. It’s what you do with profit that matters and I ensure we use it to our best advantage. Profit is central to actually delivering and growing the service. I did not want to run the risk of a charity approach dependent on fundraising where you run the risk of mission drift where so many charities have to chase the funds – putting them at risk.
Q. Given the financial challenges faced by many charities, do you expect to see more social enterprises formed?
Absolutely! Social enterprises do great work – whether it’s tackling social problems, improving people’s life chances, providing education, supporting communities or helping the environment. More must be done to shed light on this as many social enterprises are often overlooked.
Q. If you were setting up a new organisation now would you opt for the social enterprise model or the charity?
I’d most certainly opt for a social enterprise. This year, LEYF celebrates 10 years as a social enterprise and a forward thinking, progressive organisation that is proud to be doing business differently.
We currently provide a service for 4,600 children, employing 680 staff locally – along with 50 apprentices across 11 London boroughs so hopefully we are doing something right.
Q. What’s next for LEYF?
Embracing our core values, LEYF will be pioneering some major initiatives during 2018 including:
• A targeted campaign continuing to support men in childcare – promoting the essential requirement for a mixed-gender Early Years workforce which celebrates diversity and integration.
• A partnership with Bikeworks, a social enterprise based in Bethnal Green, who will be generously donating 88 bikes for nursery children as part of a joint initiative to get children active and help curb the Capital’s escalating childhood obesity epidemic. With statistics showing that one in five children in the UK start school either overweight or obese and experts warning of an ‘absolute crisis’ in child health leading to future heart disease, cancer and diabetes, the bike donation will be spread across 16 of LEYF’s 37 nurseries. LEYF’s long-term ambition for this initiative is for Sadiq Khan to follow Boris Johnson’s legacy but, this time, give every London child access to a bike whilst at nursery.
• Continuing the successful partnership with Drag Queen Story Time (DQST) to connect children and drag queens through the art of storytelling and fun interactive events. The project aims to teach children of all ages to spread a message of tolerance and kindness whilst providing fun and inclusive book reading for children –especially at a time when many children’s educational development is being dominated by digital culture such as iPads and Smartphones. • To look at building a school where we can extend our social enterprise model and pedagogy.
• Create the LEYF International Institute of Pedagogy.

Well I started believing in myself from I picked up the courage to challenge LEYF Nurseries CEO/MBE on the 19th September 2015 at Middlesex University. After lying to me at BIB on the 28th January 2015 about telling the team off for not attending the New Year Staff Party, she tried to stitch me up to breach the #SocialMedia P & P. But ignorant idiot didn’t know I have my #DefensivePractice. Now turns out they were not operating as a Legal entities.
So back to the story, she turned her back on me when she joined the group. I waited for her to finish and challenge her. She has the nerves to come chat about she did not recognise me. In hindsight and on reflections that is how some Women who let Power get to their head operate.
Take the case of the PM, Theresa May, how in heavens could she be thinking that putting her name on the #CampaignBus says Conservative Party? Well that’s the same thing with the CEO/MBE, after a time she thinks she was/is #LEYF and set about getting rid of the employees who were the #Expert_Authorities in building the Organisation’s BRAND.
As for following the professionals, I am doing well with the #FreeTrainings. I will no longer be joining any bandwagons that I can’t benefit from.

When my Role is Called up Yonder I’ll be There. Welcome to my life, one which I know is my duty to serve.
Celebrating the life of my #MOTHER, serves to remind me of her life of servitude to others from a Young Lady. She never let anyone, or anything get in her way. It could not have been easy for her, but she carried on regardless. Never complaining or let the emotions get in the way.
As we are preparing for #FathersDay celebrating, I know how much #MamaLou play both role to the best of her ability. I am sorry about the times I question her loyalty, love and anything else that came into my unlearned, ignorant head that was thinking about myself, other than the needs of others.
I am at that stage in my life when I am always reflecting on MAMA, for the sacrifice she made for her #Family and friends. GOD provided my #Father with my MOTHER for the exclusive reasons I’m with my #Husband. To be there in time of need.
I am lucky in so many ways in comparison to what my Mother had to go through. I will not say that I know how she done her work, never once neglected her duties. Now I am well aware of the #PassiveAggressions directed at anyone who fall foul of her. But it is understandable. She never found the love she shares with my Father… But Mama is/was the Strongest Woman I know, without knowing her during her lifetime as I ought to. I refuse to live the rest of my life in regret about the things I have no control to change.
Whatever I do now is in her memory as I try to live my life as an example to her. Therefore, when I am tired, I know I must find the strength from somewhere to keep going. I cannot afford to fall by the wayside, or I will be letting others down. My Mama did not let anyone down except herself.
That is why I can understand why when she forgot her only daughter, she never forgets the Man she LOVE after she lost my Father after spending the best part of 10+ years caring for him.
Luckily, I have my memories of my MOTHER to keep me going, when the going got tough. I am a better person for sharing the experiences my Mama must go through most of her life. I am on Night Duty even more regularly these days and I do not know how long it will last. So, I am preparing for the long haul. I am aware how much my #Husband is relying on me and that is the way it is. He has always been there for me.
I am getting myself ready for the visit to fit in with the date that is most convenient for you.
I am preparing some songs, poems, and stories from the Caribbean to get everyone involved in the day’s activities. Then we can round off with music and some dancing. I would not say I am verse in doing all the new dances that are more suited to the younger generations like the Ney-Ney. But I am still prepared to do what I can in the spirit of the moment.
I will come prepared to do cooking that is simple and easy to fit in with the allocated time frame. I will bring the saltfish, ackee and plantains. Of course, you can get self-rising flour for frying, the cooking oil, onions, sweet peppers, and tomatoes. Of course, I will bring some spices.
I will come dressed in my Traditional outfit and bring along some artefacts. I am so looking forward to the day.
However, I would like the School permission to video some or all of the activities we do…? That is so I can document evidence of my abilities to do presentations as part of my Continuing Personal Professional Development Plan. I am looking for innovative ways to earn money as I am not in paid employment now.
As I have said I will make the arrangements from my end. All I need for you to say that the last Wednesday in October 2016 is the best options.

To Whom It May Concern
This is to give due notice once again to Connex-Education and their subsidiary to refrain from sending emails to me about noreply@connex-education… Since I contacted Connex-Education before via emails about taking me off their mailing list and no one is taking notice, I am exercising my rights to have this done in the next two weeks or I will be seeking Legal Advice.
From I registered with Connex-Education I have been asked to write reports about the reasons for the Reference written by Senior Human Resources Dilys Epton from London Early Years Foundation (LEYF) that I complied with. Connex-Education in choosing to not respect my wishes to be removed from their mailing list is breaching my Human Rights and the Data Protection Act 1998 by exacerbating and triggering my disabilities of CHRONIC ANXIETY and DEPRESSION. Connex-Education do not think I am professional enough to be sent on jobs, but they can ask me to refer people to them to get jobs.
If Connex-Education do not desist from sending me emails that are repetitive for non-existent jobs, then I will be taking further actions and putting them in the Public Domain as conspiring and colluding with (LEYF) to keep me out of work.
Once more please accept my apologies for thinking that Connex-Education is a reputable and professional organisation, but no they are in cohorts with (LEYF) to discriminate against me indirectly.
Thanks for taking note of my concerns and the way l am affected by the continuing emails that don’t give me any chance of getting a job.
I think it is rather insensitive of Connex-Education to be sending me this email. I will be using it as evidence of how London Early Years Foundations and others of the same ilk are networking against and blacklisting me. Connex-Education done nothing since the last time I was at your office with the dictates I was given. I have not worked since I signed up, but now Connex-Education thinks I am good enough to refer staff…?

Transfers: (1) From Fitzrovia Community Nursery – Luton Street Community Nursery – April 2010 – July 2014.
Reasons: Manager took my enthusiasm for sharing my knowledge in the Role of SENCO she appointed me to as threats to her own lack of knowledge after the Early Years Teacher decided to empower me sharing knowledge and expertise to do the job. Because I challenged the unfair treatments not to be harassed, bullied, and intimidated when carrying out my job, I was targeted, labelled, and victimised. However, I worked as a professional collaboratively from a shared vision (see former colleagues’ reference – Patricia Sessions – appendix 1).
Transfer: (2) From Luton Street Community Nursery – Bird In Bush: Spent the better part of my time working with LEYF at Luton Street Community Nursery – April 2010 – July 2014. I have 2 folders of evidence of my work that can be seen if necessary, to prove my contributions of fulfilling the Job Description for the CONTRACT I signed in 2009. (Relevant copies of evidence of contributions – April 2009 – July 2014 – appendix 2).
Waiting for Transfer:
I applied for transfer for years when HOC first opened and requests sent out for practitioners to apply. I thought I was accepted when I was visited by 2 Persons in authority at Luton Street Community Nursery. HR Dilys Epton & Area Manager Maria Freeman only visited to question why I had applied for a transfer. I thought it was clear why I had applied in my application as the notice was there for anyone who wished to do so. My application was not accepted, and I leaned from prior experiences at Fitzrovia when Maria Freeman was involved to be weary of getting on the wrong side of her. I was warned about how she operated and had personal experiences after that as lots of negative things were said about me because I was not their cronies.
At this time, I did not know Dilys, but things go round at LEYF like Chinese Whispers. With no other choice, I carried on working at LSCN after applying for numerous jobs and had to come to terms with the rejections that I would never get another job because I had challenged inappropriate practices as I was taught to do at College/University. I covered in HOC and realised I could not have managed with my health conditions anyway. So, when I was literally been forced to take up a post there after I’d applied again for transfer closer to home, I declined the offer.
Transfer:(3) Bird in Bush Nursery From 23.07.2014 – 17.03.2015 – House of Commons. I applied for Brixton when I heard it was taken over by LEYF, but got news of a setting that was even closer to home that was taken over – BIB. I was happy when I was eventually transferred there. I joined the BIB team bringing along my enthusiasm and ethos I had been empowered with as a long time LEYF employee with years of dedicated services to an organisation I considered a beacon, despite the few flaws. Because no matter where anyone venture in life, they will never ever find the ideal anything – personal or professional situation! Once I done my best working collaboratively from a shared vision to help BIB get a good OFSTED, my troubles started after.
To be exact it was October 2014 when the problems started at BIB because I was eating a banana to enable me from getting sick so I could carry out my normal day-to-day activities. (See Long Service Award – appendix 3). Matters were left to escalate out of control to the point where I became sick and was fearing for my sanity and life in general (see letter/email to Dilys – appendix 4). Because I then take a stance not to be gagged and Discriminated against whilst they tried to gather false evidence to SACK me from the job I had done. I faced further Direct Discriminations and the entire LEYF organisation colluded and were in cohorts. But I only learnt about this later.
False Allegations to blacken my name & ruin my character:
Staff at BIB were aided and abetted by Central Office staff to Directly Discriminate against me, so they tried every Policy & Procedures in the CONTRACT to get me SACKED on the request of colleagues at BIB & CO staff who decided they wanted me out by fair or foul means. So, they made up false allegations on Thursday, sent it to CO and by Friday they carried out a so-called investigation. Because I asked for them to remove the gag (see appendix 4) and to carry out an investigation, I was shipped out the Monday to HOC. I faced further Direct Discriminations because the area Manager Hilda Miller gave them directions how to treat me unfairly.
House of Commons:
They claimed in their investigations they had concerns about me, yet they sent me where staff must be vetted to work. While they have their so-called concerns CO big wigs were visiting BIB (see CEO’s letters November 2014 & January 2015 – appendix 5) yet I was not informed about these concerns. They were not flagged, and anything done about them until I received the Disciplinary Letter. Of course, this was after I was sent home to rest from my ordeals with pay and I went to the door the next day to find the letter summoning me to the Disciplinary. My Union advised me to find out the grounds under which I was sent home and learned that it was a Medical Suspension.
Dilys tried to trick me into signing an agreement over the telephone and told me when she visited me at HOC she was not trying to set me up, but that is exactly what she was doing (see letter re HOC visit – appendix 6). To cut a long story short, I had a Union Rep who supported me at the Disciplinary Hearing and brought out some discrepancies. He disappeared off the face of the earth since after promising he could get me a PACKAGE if I did not feel up to working with LEYF again. The Union solicitor then turned against me advising me not to appeal the Disciplinary Outcome, but I did. She claimed the employers did not have to prove I’d done anything wrong because it is in the CONTRACT I signed. When I asked her to put what she told me in writing, she LIED.
Transfer: (4) New Cross Community Nursery 2nd June 2015 – 28th September 2015
I am currently at loggerheads with LEYF, and the Union and I will not let them get away with what they’ve done to me and countless others. I was passed fit to go back to work, yet LEYF continued with the charade to try to get me out by fair means or foul. Because of my situation, I gave up my RIGHTS and tried to provide for my basic needs under challenging circumstances. But LEYF carried on with the Direct Discrimination and the Union turned a blind eye and offered no support. LEYF threw everything at me to get me to quit, but because by this time I was on the waiting lists for counselling I was concerned that no other employee would give me the chance to get myself back together after the way LEYF treated me causing me to suffer from ill health.
However, I reached the end of my tether when LEYF refused to renew my GRB/DBS despite giving them prior warnings on my return to work on 02.06.2015 that it was running out. I was treated like a paedophile and criminal which further affected my mental health issues that I was awaiting counselling on. However, I still decided to give up my Rights and see the difficult situations out. Luckily, I started making contingency plans and asked one of Connex-Education Supply Staff to give me the contact information for her agency. I refused to accept the Disciplinary Outcome because the Occupational Health doctor had put Reasonable Adjustments in place.
I put in a Grievance against BIB and a Grievance for the Reasonable Adjustments to be put in place. But like everything LEYF used delaying tactics, pushed my concerns under the mat and carried on with the Direct Discriminations. Only this time they tried to cover their tracks using 3rd Parties to do the dirty deeds. When I decided enough was enough and carried on with my “Defensive Practice” Hilda Miller the Racist area manager who orchestrated all of what happened to me from I transferred to BIB came to have a meeting with me (see letters New Cross– appendix 7). When I stood up for my RIGHTS not to be harassed, bullied, and intimidated by anyone, she put the machinery in place to get rid of me.
I understand she claimed she is not working with me… The rest is history. I was called to CO to have a chat with the Director and when I got there it was Neil King and Dilys Epton. They tried bullying me into resigning and when I did not, they made more threats and gave me another suspension, saying they would send it in the post. Because this is how LEYF go about doing their dirty work and I have evidence of others they treated exactly like me and I will not let them get away with it. The false allegations that they made and had to climb down when I appealed stated that the Appeal is a Final Written Warning hence an Instant Dismissal. So, I don’t understand why they was going through another Suspension and not sacking me…?
I decided I was going to fight to the end but had to RESIGN when I was in the process of having a Nervous Breakdown. Matters took its toll on my health (see Resignation – appendix 8). LEYF then lowest of the low when they made an online application for me after they refused before and treated me like a criminal. I worked with them 6 years and yet I had Agency/Supply Staff supervising me because I could not be left on my own. I had another GRB for the organisation I was doing volunteering with and then they wanted me to bring it in for them to copy. This is the same reasons why the Union is telling me that LEYF can apply online for a DBS for me (see letters – DBS/Union – appendix 9).
LEYF and the Union are abusing their power of authority and because I signed a CONTRACT, that does not mean I should be ENSLAVED by others who choose to flout the laws and legislations of Great Britain. Now Connex-Education can begin to have an insight into why I must get myself back to good health before I can go back to work full time and find myself having to deal with another harrowing experience like what I have been through the past year. This is not the first time and although I am qualified, I am networked against because LEYF will try to destroy vulnerable staff like me who they see as threats to their incompetence (see letter re Post – appendix 10).
I have started my COUNSELLING and I hope with time I can heal so I am able to return full time to doing what I have done most of my life, working with young children. That is my passion in life, laying the foundations so no other child and their parent must go through what I went through with my child. LEYF and the Union are damned for all I care and any decent person with any shred of Humanity will see them for who they really are. LEYF was once a beacon but have since changed in a dog-eat-dog society.
If they set out to destroy me, I will return the favours, but I must earn a living so will keep a low profile if they do not trouble me. Maybe they deserved to be warned if you think so. I am more concerned about the people like myself who are relying on them for their employment otherwise LEYF and the Union can go to hell. After my ordeals at their hands, I am entitled to say what I think of them after the way they have made my life hell over a period of a year. My soul has been cleansing now I get this off my chest.
As a result of what is happening in my life, I must seek help to carry on with my life so have to put my CV for public scrutiny. Therefore, I find some persons are trying to exploit me for their own gains. They ask why I resigned and when I told the truth, they then treat me like LEYF done and this only makes me feel worse as they promised to get back in touch and do not bother. There are others who are offering me some measly sums, I have done interviews and do not get feedback because the highest qualified is level 3. I am offered a post and with my qualifications I am offered less than the living wage, yet LEYF thinks it is ok to write a negative reference of 5+ sentences after I worked with them 6 years. They get what they wanted, and I resigned, but surely, I am entitled to move on with my life without them jeopardising my chance to provide for my basic needs out of spite. I did not start this War, so I will not allow them to win the Battle. I will fight with every weapon at my disposals to protect my good name and character that they tarnished and tried to destroy.

I was under the weather lying in bed on Tuesday when I had the chance to watch Horizon – Living with Autism by Professor Uta Frit. This programme was a real eye opener for me as it transported me back to the time, I had my first encounter with getting an insight in autism. This was an article in the Nursery World which I kept to date. I have since gone on to do studies to enhance knowledge and expertise. I realised that because of lack of knowledge children with diverse and complex needs are not getting support via early intervention strategies. Growing up and struggling throughout life with what I call my Hidden Disability that is one of the primary reasons I am so passionate about inclusion. Glad I found this group.

Call for ‘shared sites’ to bring young and old together 05 January 2018 by Meredith Jones Russell
A new report has called for the introduction of 500 intergenerational shared sites to unite young and old people and counter ‘age apartheid’.

According to think tank United for All Ages in its ‘Mixing Matters’ report published today (5 January 2018), urgent action is needed to create 500 shared sites across the country by 2022 to tackle growing social divides in ‘Brexit Britain’.
In the report’s analysis of recent research, it found that Britain is one of the most age segregated countries in the world, particularly for the oldest and youngest generations, and said this gap has widened over the last 50 years.
United for All Ages made three key recommendations for bringing older and younger people together:
Building multigenerational communities: supporting community businesses, making public spaces more accessible, opening community facilities to all ages, co-locating childcare and eldercare schemes Mutual support through two-way relationships: online mentoring of younger people, advocacy for older people needing health and social care, ‘homeshare’ schemes where younger people live with older people, increased interaction between grandfathers and grandchildren Better communication between generations: establishing a national council for all ages supported by an intergenerational convention, building bridges between generations using arts activities and street parties. According to the think tank, shared sites such as housing schemes for the elderly co-located with nurseries should be prioritised in the fight to beat age segregation.
The ‘Mixing Matters’ report highlights the growth of shared sites in 2017, including the first ‘care-home nursery’ at Apples and Honey Nightingale in south west London, and mentions the significance of the Channel 4 programme ‘Old People’s Home for Four Year Olds’ in raising awareness of intergenerational projects.
Director of United for All Ages Stephen Burke said, ‘Brexit Britain is dogged by divisions – we are divided by class, income, race, geography and age. The mistrust that arises from such divisions is fuelled by the lack of connection between different generations. This can breed myths and stereotypes, misunderstanding, ageism and exclusion. That’s why we believe mixing matters.
‘The joy of mixing can unite Brexit Britain in these divided times. As surveys repeatedly show, older and younger generations have much more in common than some would have us believe. Now’s the time to make shared sites happen because mixing matters for everybody.’

CONSEQUENCES OF NON-CIMPLIANCE
1. Failure to comply with an order for disclosure may result on summary conviction in a fine of up to £1,000 being imposed upon a person in default under s.7 (4) of the Employment Tribunals Act 1996.
3. An order maybe varied or revoked upon application by a person affected by the order or by a judge on his/her own initiative.
Omission of GP Medical Report re Disabilities: Chronic Anxiety, Arthritis, Diabetes.
Without prejudice, I am left to come to the conclusions that the documents from the GP containing the information that Employment Judge Elliot ordered on the 8th June 2016 was deliberately omitted so the Respondent can say I did not comply with the Employment Tribunals orders in the Case Management Summary. The Respondent have first and foremost breached the Data Protection Act by withholding of my FILE from since before I transferred from Luton Street on 23rd July 2014. This is despite the measures I have used to gain access to my Confidential Date.
After the Respondent’s statement in Court on the 8th June 2016 that the Bundle was not received and I produced the admittance that from Mr Joh Fenton via email that I was received. Mr Fenton stated he had not seen the two relevant documents. I have since complied with the Court Orders (if necessary, can provide evidence to the effect of contacting the GP Surgery) and submitted a three (3) page Print Out from the GP Surgery. This document was submitted in the BUNDLE but has not been included with the Paginated documents. I would like the matter of the three Page GP Medical Reports from October 2014 – September 2015 to be addressed as this was in the Case Management Summary Court Orders.
I must put in writing as part of my Defensive Practice that ever since the first meeting at the Preliminary Hearing on the 15th March 2016 when you decided we should talk. I have to admit that all I am getting from the Respondent is evasive tactics to exacerbate and trigger my DISABILITIES. You admitted in the presence of Chester Pinder that you already know from my FILE that is in the Respondent possession that I am unable to cope with the STRESS of dealing with the Tribunals.
If in doubt refer to: Paginated Bundle Pages 6 – 7: Titled – Confidential – Human Resources Emergency Contact Form. Please inset any information that you think is necessary for the HR department to know in case of an emergency. “I have genetic inherited PARKINSON DISEASE (undiagnosed). As a result, I have altered and made changes to my lifestyle to facilitate my condition. At the same time, I try to keep out of situations that may trigger and exacerbate the condition. Although I had been prescribed drugs (VALIUM) in the past to control the condition I prefer to take a holistic approach to control my coping, so I do not get addicted or too reliant on prescription drugs”.

Update’s 26 May 2019: I have gone a long way since I write this in setting up my business. I have set up numerous Pages on Facebook, in addition to Social Media Platforms and Google. My card refers to me as “Mental Health & SEND Advocate”. With “Breaking Down Barriers” as my mission to promoting inclusion by sharing stories of my experiences. I was advised to add “Mental Wellbeing Advisor for Experts by Experience” as well.
My Page will showcase my Continuing Personal Professional Developmental Plan (CPPDP) and Intellectual Properties. That I am hoping to copyright to take back control of my work over the years, working in the UK. My creative talents and initiatives that were used over the years in contributing to building brands for former employers and mentoring of others. I will be focussing on my own personal experiences from childhood. When I was brought up in a home by my extended families, with parents who were Christians. I was raised from the old-fashioned values and beliefs of my parents that it takes a village to raise a child. And not to spare the rod and spoil the child, as I am a testament to good parenting skills. The parenting skills from the teachings of the Bible, with a few old wife’s tales thrown in for good measures.
Coming to the UK afforded me with the opportunities to enhance knowledge, gain additional experiences, studying, training, and working in several sectors. I was empowered to develop the capitals needed to help me become qualified to the highest levels as an Early Years Practitioner. I have qualifications in Health & Social Care, done trainings to be a SENCO, EYFS Coordinator, Multigenerational Working Approach Facilitator, and a Volunteer. I have done additional trainings as a Volunteer and a Learning Support Assistant and have done volunteering with different age ranges. I have been enhancing knowledge, doing trainings with providers. Also, with other Charitable Organisations and with the LEAs, online and at Annual Shows and Conferences. The most recent is for “The Expert Patients Programme” as I am now a Carer.
Hopefully, I will be able to go back into using my passion for writing, photography and doing research to making my dreams becoming the visions of realities as an Advocate of Inclusion. By writing and sharing my stories about how I can still be overcoming some of the adversities, challenges, deficits, and limitations that prevented me from achieving my potentials when I was attending school. I will be seen as an inspirational and motivating influencer, for whom giving up was not an option.
One of my mantras is ambition can take you through the world. I grew up in poverty because of several things that were/are beyond the human control. That is only one of the reasons which spurred me on, ensuring I helped each and every one who has ever asked for my support in any ways needed. My passion for working with young children is second to none as I get a sense of pride, knowing I help to lay foundations.
That is why I can sit back with pride even though I have been forced out of the job I love and congratulate myself on my achievements. Now I am a Carer, I know I am an Expert Authority on subjects from the cradle to the grave and it would be a waste if I did not share my knowledge and expertise with others. That is why I am putting my stories and experiences out in the public domain so others can benefit. My talents and creativities are many and I will be using them to help others. I attended Lambeth College 1997-1999 and graduated with BTEC National Diploma CHILDHOOD STUDIES (NUSERY NURSING) July 1999. I was helped into a job at William Wilberforce Lambeth Walk Day Nursery straight after finishing studies. Of note is the fact, I left with Mervelee Myers was selected, based on progress and achievement, to represent the College’s 1998/1999 students from the area of Childhood Studies: BTEC National Diploma. Let me give you an insight into why I am making this public. My life was turned upside down for the second time after the death of my mother by Leyf Day Nursery #LEYF. Despite my The Open University qualifications, I have not worked since resigning with the second #nervous breakdown in a toxic work environment. The first was at King’s College Hospital when some of those involved in the direct and indirect discrimination were from the hierarchy of the Local Educational Authority.
Let me start with UNISON that have since overturned the UK Parliament Government Law for employees to be charged fee to take employers to the Employment Tribunal. There was London Borough of Southwark SEND Section and Ofsted involvement.
To cut a long story short, I was looking for opportunities to get involved and signed up as well as attended a Guardian Event. It was titled “Is Modern Slavery #thriving in the UK. I spoke to the #reporter after and submitted my evidence. However, they can find no use for my story. Let me make it clear that ‘without prejudice’ I think this is barefaced daylight #obbery and hardly any different from the scammers sending me emails. And the cold callers setting direct line to my home telephone.
Am I to understand that only celebrities will be given a voice to tell their stories? Whilst people like me are expected to prop up others as have happened from 2004 in the UK. When must I take my story to the South London Press to get my money back from the Financial Institutions? I am back with the Financial Ombudsman Service. I was up until late doing what I have to do… Get up early this morning to the news about Manchester, United Kingdom. I am just so sad about the senseless killings. I am left to wonder what kind of world are we living in? The past experiences that affected my life since I returned from burying my #MOTHER and transferred to BIB, HOC and New Cross LEYF Nurseries23rd July 2014, have taken their tolls on me. I struggled with the #MentalHealthIssues that were exacerbated and triggered to challenge the social injustices and inequalities existing in societies. I took my former employers to the Employment Tribunal, despite knowing that the cards were stacked against me. This is my second appearance, first it was with King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, at the ET Courts and representing myself. Why, because on both ocassions the unions sell me out. So shame on UNISON and Voice: the union for education professionals for their unprofessional conducts. In due course I will be making sure all of those in the systems and establishments are reported for the roles they play in my Mental Health-MeltDown. There were London Borough of Southwark SEND Section, Local Safeguarding Board, Ofsted done nothing when concerns were raised because I did not have a status. But I was studying with the The Open University. My GP because he worked for the NHS could not give me a Medical Report despite my documenting of my Medical History and prescribed VALIUM before coming to the United Kingdom. He gave me a diagnosis of Chronic Anxiety on the 18th July 2006 to do my exam for Health & Social Care, because I did not have a diagnosis of Parkinson’s. Capsticks, Wimbledon have 3 Legal Representatives in Court on the day and in the end the matter was cooked up. I can still recall the Judge saying, “She Can’t Even Open Her File”, because I was always a #BundleofNerves, but I concealed this part of me well by knowing the #Triggers for my Disabilities. The rest of my story is history, however counselling at the Maudsley Hospital, helped me to cope much better. I missed out on what most people take for granted in their lives. But I have never complained outright, except blaming my FATHER for getting sick and leaving me alone. Then I turned on my Father’s GOD that should have protected Papa from 10+ years of suffering. But ignorant idiot didn’t know I have my #DefensivePractice. Now turns out they were not operating as a Legal entities. So back to the story, she turned her back on me when she joined the group. I waited for her to finish and challenge her. She have the nerves to come chat about she didn’t recognise me. In hindsight and on reflections that’s how some Women who let Power get to their head operate. Take the case of the PM, Theresa May, how in heavens could she be thinking that putting her name on the #CampaignBus says Conservative Party? Well that’s the same thing with the CEO/MBE, after a time she thinks she was/is #LEYF and set about getting rid of the employees who were the #Expert_Authorities in building the Organisation’s BRAND. June was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday honours in 2013, for her services to London’s children. She won the Social Enterprise UK Women’s Champion Award in November 2014 and in February 2015 she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Middlesex. In 2016 she was voted one of Debretts most influential 500 and in 2017 she won the NMT Most Influential In Early Years Award. IN 2018, she was runner up in the Veuve Cliquot Woman of the Year Award.
How LEYF prevented my Progress with Discrimination:
1. After meeting Michael Gove at LEYF A/C in 2011, I was the only employee shortlisted for the post of Lead Early Years Practitioner. I was not successful, and the record ofdiscrimination can be verified with the Judiciary Of England And Wales HMCTS second miscarriages of justice.
2. Throughout my employment I continue doing the work on site, representing LEYF in the Press & Media, leading Consultations from Delegations.
3. Was instrumental in applying knowledge & expertise as a graduate of the Open University in building LEYF BRAND.
4. Was not paid my worth nor benefit from any of my Intellectual Property & Image Rights
5. Was endorsed on LinkedIn by Professors Chris Pascal & Tony Bertram whom I meet at Middlesex University on 19/9/2015.

Got home L/N & Tom was inconsolable as his phone was either lost or stolen? The final report, written by Cathy Nutbrown, Professor of Education at the University of Sheffield, has now been published and makes a series of important recommendations.
Professor Nutbrown considers that better qualifications and more qualified practitioners are key to high-quality early years provision and her key recommendation is that all staff should hold a relevant Level 3 qualification before being considered qualified to work in an early years setting.
The report, Foundations for Quality, also calls for Level 3 qualifications to be strengthened to include more on child development and play, more on special educational needs and disability, more on inclusivity and diversity, and a focus on the birth to seven age range.

About the Author
Professor Cathy Nutbrown is Professor of Education at the University of Sheffield, where she teaches and researches in the field of early childhood education.
Cathy began her career as a teacher of young children and has since worked in a range of settings and roles with children, parents, teachers, and other early childhood educators. Cathy is committed to finding ways of working ‘with respect’ with young children, and sees the concept of quality in the context of what it means to develop curriculum and pedagogy in the early years with the ambition of working in a climate of ‘respectful education’.
She established the University of Sheffield MA in Early Childhood Education in 1998 and a Doctoral Programme in Early Childhood Education in 2008. In 2010 she contributed to the Tickell Review of the Early Years Foundation In June 2012 she reported on her year-long independent review for government on early years and childcare qualifications (The Nutbrown Review). She is Editor-in-Chief of the SAGE Journal of Early Childhood Research and author of over fifty publications on aspects of early childhood education.
Peter Clough is Professor of Education at the University of Brighton. Often using innovative, arts-based qualitative methodologies, his research is concerned particularly with the inclusion of marginalised voices, and spans all age phases. Among his many publications are Inclusion in the Early Years (Sage), and Narratives and Fictions in Educational Research (OUP). Recent research includes the Family Literacy in Prisons project in collaboration with the Prison Advice and Care Trust.

We don’t just advocate for our community in April though. We work with an amazing team of volunteers to improve health, social care, benefit and transport services for people with Parkinson’s throughout the year.
We think it’s a brilliant community to be a part of. Don’t just take our word for it though:

Eventually I lost my job and a certain amount of self esteem and worth, but my desire to speak out about this new world I was forced to inhabit gave me back this worth and self esteem. I feel that I’m contributing to a bigger and worthier cause than just ME. I’m not driven by targets and deadlines. I contribute at my own speed and within my newly discovered abilities. We don’t just advocate for our community in April though. We work with an amazing team of volunteers to improve health, social care, benefit and transport services for people with Parkinson’s throughout the year.
We think it’s a brilliant community to be a part of. Don’t just take our word for it though:

Eventually I lost my job and a certain amount of self esteem and worth, but my desire to speak out about this new world I was forced to inhabit gave me back this worth and self esteem. I feel that I’m contributing to a bigger and worthier cause than just ME. I’m not driven by targets and deadlines. I contribute at my own speed and within my newly discovered abilities. Now is an exciting time to join our volunteering community. Do you want to help? Over the coming months we’ll be running campaign training sessions.
At these sessions you’ll learn how to campaign. We’ll teach you how to find decision makers in your local area, how to recruit other volunteers to Parkinson’s UK and how to share your story in a powerful way with decision makers to deliver change.

It’s time to question what’s driving education: is it the needs of children and young people, or something else entirely?

• Then at 5.30pm on Wednesday 20th April, I’ll chair a conversation between Stewart Lansley and Professor Kate Pickett, author of The Spirit Level, about Stewart’s book The Richer, The Poorer and how we break Britain’s 200-year ‘high inequality–high poverty’ cycle.
• On Wednesday 18th May, Compass presents Time to Get Serious about Tactical Voting? at Union Street in Sheffield. Speakers will include Jon Cruddas MP, the Guardian’s Zoe Williams and local constituency representatives from Labour, the Lib Dems and the Greens.
Those last two events come to you as part of the brilliant Festival of Debate.
The festival features speakers like Armando Ianucci, Gloria Steinem, George Monbiot and former It’s Bloody Complicated guest Ece Temelkuran.

In developing our new Strategy ‘Aiming High; Changing Lives, 2021-2026’, we had over 1,700 interactions with staff, service users, carers, partners, families and community organisations.
We made a commitment to holding regular six-monthly events led by the Chair and Chief Executive to continue talking and acting on how we are making progress to achieve our Strategic Ambitions.
At this first event we will:
1. Share progress on the strategy since its launch in September 2021
2. Continue to co-produce the qualitative (personal experience) measures for the Trust Strategy, to monitor its success
3. Share ways to get involved in reviewing and setting Trust priorities for 2023-2024
4. Have a question and answer session on the strategy with our panel

Last time I recall any memory of Mass Aidrey was when I attended the Wake Night of Mr Dixon in January 2014. I know Mass Balis used to go play Dominoes with Mass Aidrey. But I’ll be sharing my Story with the World as Evil should not prosper!
This morning for the 1st time in over a year my Tom has a HYPO. I was wavering my mind if I should call in or what. I quickly sorted him out, left him eating & rushed out. I was concerned because usually I’d not leave until he fully recovered. Got in explain to the Authoritarian that I needed to check on him, but she didn’t respond. I later reaffirmed I meant calling him to find out how is when I say check on him just in case she thought I meant literally. I got a grunt as response. Once more I was pushed from pillar to post & just got on with it.
I was bolstering the morals of others who were been carried along with the tide. My stress incontinence is back & I am trying to cope as best I can only to be told to Hurry up each time I need to go… The levels of provocation been chucked in my face is more than I can bear. & this would make any Christian cuss bad wuds. But still I’ll not yield to temptations but sing Christian Songs instead.
But what really got to me is the fact that I was not allowed the time to check my Husband to see how he was after I had to rush out & leave him. So imagine my state of mind them winding me up & trying to keep my focus & not think of what could have been? I never got to call Tom until 12.15. So I left the house at 7.00 & in between that time 12.15 I was scared stiff.
I got home from 1 staff meeting the day he locked himself out collecting a parcel. Luckily he was rescued by kind neighbours. This only left me to asks where is the HUMANITY in those gutless people who GOD has put in charge of US to torment US. That U can’t get even 5 minutes to check if Ur Husband is ok. Jackass say di world nuh level when some can get away with Slow MURDER of the Innocent.
This is the next story I’ll be writing because if Authoritarian can give U a Sanction that is so Soul Destroying that it leaves U feeling SICK when they don’t know nothing about you… And now have the nerves/gall to come now turn around saying how Experienced that person is… I am in utter despair!
Does any 1 know how to get in touch with HOWARD KING? He is related to my Mama from my Granny’s side & lived in St Catherine. His gran Lorreta King-Walker lived in Town & I can’t recall the address now even thou I went there. He once worked at D&G. I’d love to link even thou I last saw him when we were kids! Oh guess I better mentioned my cousin Jennifer Chambers whose mum was Marjorie Morris & they lived at Alexander Road Kingston. I’d love to link with these people if possible b4 I go back to JA. Last time I saw Jenny, Patsy & the Boys was at their mums funeral at BRUNTY near Beaston Spring.
Counting down 4 2 important BD in this month – 1 of my Breda & Kevin 1 & only my 3rd Grand Child…!!! Time certainly flies & waits for no 1? When my GS BD comes then I’ll have another month 2 Sally-Mourn b4 dat Gloriuos Day of Awakening begins 2 dawn…!!! Wat a Day of Rejoicing that will be…??? Me a guh Celebrate & Party Hard>>>
For All my F/F/A who maybe going thru a Painful period at this time…? Rest assured that God the everloving Father will not give US more than WE can bear!!! Thou the road be rocky & the hill is steep God will never leave US alone to carry the burden…? So keep strong in the Lord & He will deliver!!!
