Had a good chat with 1 JA bloke on me way 2 the market… He advised me to give Galaxy Radio a listen to? Don’t know what is happening, but people from my past keep coming up in my thoughts! & I guess it is only fair to try & link as many of them as possible… So if any1 knows Elaine Brown aka Mum who is Neta daughter, but was raised by her grandma Mamie – Tata Brown mum I’d like to know how she is doing? I have been thinking about Mama over the past weeks especially since I am dealing with some issues of personal & professional nature which can drastically impact on my overall wellbeing! I know mum is slowly declining in health & her memory in particular is severely affected as she approaches 4 scores years & 10. When I spoke to Kevin on his BD he reassured me she is in good health so most likely she’ll be around for my impending visit home. However this does not take away from my concerns about the decline in her mental state and I have not had a conversation with her for a long time. So yesterday after getting into bed the phone rang & it was my breda Balis who said the rain was falling & he was by the yard. Even though I knew what to expect when I eventually tried to talk to Mama it was really heartrending to realised that Mum has no memory of Me & don’t know who RATTY is? My only consolations are she is not feeling any pains more than the ordinary and is very close to my Son VAL who lives at home with her. Although I am being realistic I can’t help but shed the tears which help to cleanse my soul, knowing that circumstances dictates that I her only daughter have to be so far away. If things were different I’d be by her side doing my best for her. Dealing with Mama’s condition even though I am so far away helped me to put things in perspectives and made me change some of my outlook on life. However I am still my Mum’s only girl who has turned into her 100%. She never shed the tears in public, but the least thing which affect me cause me to cry, even when I laugh. So maybe this is a good omen & I can use this as a coping mechanism in times of trials & tribulations?I am so looking forward to going home & has began counting the months, which will turn into weeks & then days! My breda Ervin Nembhard is of the opinion that Mama is waiting for a special moment before she goes to sleep, so let’s hope he is right in his predictions? Tomorrow I have to put on a brave face & face the world as if my world is not falling apart over concerns over Mama. But I know I can do everything with GOD’s help & guidance as I struggle to fight the injustices in this world we live in!!! So I end by asking blessings from above to keep me strong to face all that life throws at me. Even more important for Mama to be comforted & kept safe until I see her again, if it is thy wish oh Lord?

Asking God for His guidance in keeping her steadfast as she continues her life’s journeys amongst US here on this Blessed earth. A Massive BIG Heartfelt THANKS to Everyone who have been rallying around her as she ventures into the twilight years of her life and is slowly loosing her INDEPENDENCE!!! U know who U are and I’ll forever be in Ur debts as U continue to play the part I can’t attend to because of distance…. Ratty NEMBHARD.

After 8 yrs of married life I was kicked out by my ex… Pity it took him so long to realise his mistake!!! He & the madam r back in JA where it all started! In all honesty I do feel for him when I hear of his Plight – Because there is a Good Man in there somewhere?
