I am dedicating the month of July that is my Cousin Janet Beeput birth month to celebrating her Life. Now that I have come through one of the most difficult phases of my -60 years on earth, I owe Janet this much. It’s still hard to come to terms with the glaring fact that CANCER is robbing Janet of her Life at such a young age. When I reflect that Janet took charge of arranging the Funeral Parlour part of MAMA funeral it makes me even sadder & brings home to me how Vulnerable we are. For my Cuz Joyce Saunders-Brown it must be even more painful knowing she Cared for her brother ROY who died of CANCER & then to have the responsibility of caring for her daughter Janet before CANCER take her too. There is not much I can do because @LEYF take away the JOB & tried Destroying my Life from I got from Jamaica after burying Mama. But I will make the sacrifices to make Janet a bit more comfortable before she depart this life. I am a WRITER & my Writing is about the Common People of whom I am the least Worthy?

Mum’s funeral service went as planned despite all the plans of the devil to thwart us. No electricity & water on Friday & Saturday. The same old story with the food! Mum got her wish & her Body kept on the porch. Heart rending to see my grandson crying because he is missing Mama. The journey continues as we live with the promise of meeting again in Zion Land of the Blessed.
