We at the BLAC Awards are privileged to publish
our first Newsletter as an inspiration to anyone
who reads this. We want to encourage people
from all walks of life to contribute to creating the
legacies. As we have had the foundations laid by
the pioneers in their field, and more importantly
from our ancestors.
The BLAC Awards and that of our Partners, Sponsors,
and the local and international community,
gives priority in publishing a Newsletter so that everyone
has the chance to have their stories told.
In the words of Nelson Mandela, “The Purpose of
Freedom is to Create for Others”.
My multiple identities make it important for me to
accept my uniqueness, inherited from my ancestors
from whichever continents they were born,
and to count my blessings for being born in Jamaica
where it takes a village to raise a child. I
can forewarn the reader that this child’s “Personal
Experiences” of childhood traumas did not make
me the ideal child to be raised. I can say with pride
that my “Personal Challenges” from the time my father
was stricken with Parkinson’s disease helped
to shape my life into the person I am today. This is
the primary reason I am ready to find my purpose
as a member of the BLAC Awards team.
I am looking forward to learning new skills and
the empowerment to help others who might have
been on journeys throughout their lives. I can give
my testimony that Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
(PTSD), and my Mental and Physical Impairments
did not define me, however, I must use my voice
to help the voiceless who are made voiceless, vulnerable
victims by systematic discrimination.

Whether you’re a digital marketer, product manager, or website owner, you want to be on the sizzlin’ 🔥 side at all times. But how? Step 3: understand the user behavior on those pages To better understand user behavior and improve conversion rates, first use goal conversions in Google Analytics, enable event tracking, and check your metrics for user actions such as purchases, sign-ups, and registrations. Then, analyze heatmaps, which give you a visual representation of where users click, move, and scroll on your site, to pinpoint which conversion elements—like CTAs—are getting attention and which are being ignored. Next, watch recordings—playbacks of user sessions—to see exactly what people do on your pages, so you can highlight where they drop off or become frustrated and understand why they’re failing to convert. Step 4: gather voice-of-the-customer (VoC) insights Go beyond the numbers and dig into what users really want and need—in their own words. Conduct interviews and research to understand why some users convert and what blocks others from becoming paying customers. Lean into feedback tools for first-hand opinions on your site elements, and launch surveys to discover more about your customers. Are you noticing that users add products to their cart but abandon them when they reach checkout? I am home and thankful to GOD for His continuing blessings. I was just call by a friend I meet at Gerry Robert. The same time I meet #WinsomeDuncan. This must be another sign from God. My #1stcharityevent is completed. It wasn’t easy, as nothing about my life has been since I lost my Father to Parkinson’s disease. But I am a better person for my experiences.
