The new Asian Teller questioned me and her behaviour indicated she recognised me. She lied and this is breach of the Equality Act 2010 Protected Characteristics because I had to take my 100 year old husband with me to Nationwide. All I can say about the person who came out to talk to us is she is full of CONTRADICTIONS. She claimed she was the one who reported me. Well the person who reported me admitted she was the one who verified am a regular customer when I was pleading because I had changed bag and did not have my PASSPORT. Dear Ms Thomas,
I am writing to you with regards to the letter I recently received from your branch claiming that I was behaving inappropriately and swearing at your staff. Firstly, I would like to express my frustration with the situation as it was not reflective of my usual behaviour and I feel that you/your staff could have handled the matter a little differently.
I would also like to request a copy of the CCTV footage as proof of what I am being accused of. I understand that CCTV footage is recorded for the safety and security of your staff and customers and I hope that it will provide clarity on what actually happened on the day in question.
Furthermore, I would like to suggest that your staff, including yourself, go on a diversity course to understand how some people from other cultures may react to certain situations. As a person from a different culture, I believed, and still believe that the situation was not handled in a culturally sensitive way and I hope that you/your staff can receive further training to better handle these situations.
Lastly, I would like to bring to your attention that I am a vulnerable adult, and I have proof of this. Without Prejudice I must say that based on mine and my husband’s experiences with Barclays twice and Santander recently I have to come to the conclusion that BANKS and BUILDING SOCIETIES have set out deliberately to target us because of our vulnerability. The patterns used by Barclays and Santander are similar to what Nationwide is doing. Here are some of the facts to verify my arguments. My money was taken in a similar fashion when I went in to transfer money to an account which I sent money to. It seems as if the person dealing with me was new to the job. The black person ask for help from her white colleague and they were joined by a brown colleague from the back of the premises. When none of them could help me carry out the transactions I explained I would leave the money in safe keeping in my account until I return to sort the matter out. I told them how STRESSED I was from getting the phone call from Richard Harty of the UEL. I had to go back to the GP because my Disability Form was not filled correctly. This was the only reason I went into that Barclays branch and not the one in Walworth Road where the staff know of my DISABILITIES and help me. After I begged the staff to help me because I left my passport the lady sat next to her intervene and told her to carry out the transaction without the passport. I had recently transferred money into a SAVINGS ACCOUNT which was done by her. I was never served by this staff before. Her attitude to me was demeaning, but the REDFLAGS was raised when she said there was no account and if I wanted to continue with the transaction. If there is no account why did she expect me to continue. I told her no, the person I was sending the money to lives local so I would try and get her to come in with me. When we got back she was free but told me that I must wait for someone else.
If I behaved so disgracefully as to warrant such a letter, why was I allowed to re-enter the bank a short while later? I would appreciate a response to this question.
I became SUSPICIOUS when I got a letter from Nationwide to do the SURVEY. Let Nationwide produce the response to the survey. Because I made no mention about anything in the letter, I think that’s why Nationwide is acting this way. Here are more facts to back up my arguments that Nationwide DEFAMED my CHARACTER. I took out a JOINT CURRENT ACCOUNT with my HUSBAND after Barclays closed my account. I have spoken about my ordeals whenever I go in the branch and encountered any difficulties. Whenever I am triggered I do not function and I cannot always rely on my own WRITING at times. I have a CHRONIC ANXIETY DIAGNOSIS from 2006 to do my Health and Social Care examination with the Open University. I went into the Nationwide to seek advice about transferring money to the account after Santander targeted my husband. Nationwide must REVEAL how many accounts MERVELEE MYERS and ARNOLD TOMLINSON have with them. Am I to understand that by threatening to close my account this is not clear evidence that Nationwide intends to STEAL OUR MONEY. As for threatening to make my PROFILE available to staff is breach of the laws, legislations, codes of conduct and practices. Might I refer Nationwide to the Equality Act 2010 Protected Characteristics, the GDPR 2018 and the Charter of Rights. In light of the Systematic Discrimination I experienced twice after bereavement and losses and Nationwide plots during the time I am on another journey losing my brother to CANCER, I must ask Nationwide nicely to issue me with a WRITTEN APOLOGY and COMPENSATION based on the SURVEY and letter. Failure to do so will lead to further actions on behalf of MERVELEE MYERS and ARNOLD TOMLINSON.
I hope that we can resolve this matter in a timely and respectful manner and that we can work together to ensure that similar situations are avoided in the future.

Walworth Police Station: I must search for 1. 0207-701-1212 and 2. 0208-7804180 and they were not taking incoming calls. Let me give you an insight into why I am making this #public. My life was turned upside down for the second time after the death of my mother by Leyf Day Nursery. Despite my The Open University Open University qualifications, I have not worked since resigning with the second #nervous breakdown in a toxic work environment. The first was at King’s College Hospital King’s College Hospital when some of those involved in the direct and indirect discrimination were from the hierarchy of the Local Educational Authority.
Let me start with UNISON that have since overturned the UK Parliament Government Law for employees to be charged fee to take employers to the Employment Tribunal. There was London Borough of Southwark London Borough of Southwark SEND Section and Ofsted involvement.
To cut a long story short, I was looking for opportunities to get involved and signed up as well as attended a Guardian Event. It was titled “Is Modern Slavery thriving in the UK. I spoke to the reporter after and submitted my evidence. However, they can find no use for my story. Let me make it clear that ‘without prejudice’ I think this is barefaced daylight robbery and hardly any different from the scammers sending me emails. And, the cold callers setting direct line to my home telephone.
Am I to understand that only #celebrities will be given a voice to tell their stories? Whilst people like me are expected to prop up others as have happened from 2004 in the UK. When I have to take my story to the South London Press to get my money back from the Financial Institutions? I am back with the Financial Ombudsman Service Ombudsman Service. Let me give you an insight into why I am making this #public. My life was turned upside down for the second time after the death of my mother by Leyf Day Nursery. Despite my The Open University Open University qualifications, I have not worked since resigning with the second #nervous breakdown in a toxic work environment. The first was at King’s College Hospital King’s College Hospital when some of those involved in the direct and indirect discrimination were from the hierarchy of the Local Educational Authority.
Let me start with UNISON that have since overturned the UK Parliament Government Law for employees to be charged fee to take employers to the Employment Tribunal. There was London Borough of Southwark London Borough of Southwark SEND Section and Ofsted involvement.
To cut a long story short, I was looking for opportunities to get involved and signed up as well as attended a Guardian Event. It was titled “Is Modern Slavery thriving in the UK. I spoke to the reporter after and submitted my evidence. However, they can find no use for my story. Let me make it clear that ‘without prejudice’ I think this is barefaced daylight robbery and hardly any different from the scammers sending me emails. And, the cold callers setting direct line to my home telephone.
Am I to understand that only #celebrities will be given a voice to tell their stories? Whilst people like me are expected to prop up others as have happened from 2004 in the UK. When I have to take my story to the South London Press to get my money back from the Financial Institutions? I am back with the Financial Ombudsman Service Ombudsman Service. I am fed up with the #terrorist#cells operating in the UK.

When I was born over ½ of a century ago my mum and gran were the 2 most dominant females in my life as I was blessed with only brothers, so I was always surrounded by males. This continued to be the norm as I was blessed with 2 younger siblings who turned out to be boys, and not the longed for sister I had wanted all my life. However I was later compensated for my lack of female siblings by the kind of long lasting relationships I forged along life’s journeys. These relationships have led to my having so many role models, some older, my age and even younger in a support network that span the different communities in which I am privileged to have lived. Because of growing up in a household of mostly males it is no surprise that I grew up to be a typical Tom Boy until I hit puberty when mum tried to put a stop to my Tom foolery ways without an explanation. However after much reflections I can understand mum’s rationale for trying to rope in the stubborn child whom I had become? I must confess that over the years I have morphed so much into my mum and granny that it is very much uncanny. I keep reminding myself at times…, but that’s exactly what mum and gran would do in the same circumstances. Reminds me of some of the sayings like chip doan fly fur from block, kettle a cuss pot black, pig did ask sow wat mek your mouth long suh and sow sey bambye you will see…
As today is celebrated as MOTHER’s Day (except in UK) and Dementia Awareness Week (in UK) I must confessed that I am glad to say I still have a Mother who is 89 years and counting. However I am here harking and wishing I could turn the clock back to the time before I discovered that MUM was developing Dementia and tried to break the news to my family. Even now it is hard to get some of my siblings to understand where I am coming from about the slow deteiorations in mum’s mental health. Of late her condition has exacerbated to the point where she hardly recognises her children at times. I share moments with my big breda Balis where I am overcome with laughter or shed tears about some of the antics she gets up to. I am a very sentimental person who knows more about Mum than she even knows about herself and she has covered her vulnerability with a cloak to hide the pains and grief’s she suffered throughout her life. Like Mum I too have been covering myself with that cloak to get away from the hurts, but I guess not as successful as her as I am always overcome by emotions?
So today I am writing this little ditty as a reminder of the wonderful person MUM is and was, and I thank my lucky stars that dad chose her to be OUR Mother. Mama has had her ups and down throughout life coping with all kinds of adversities that would cause a lesser person to hand in the towel, but she never complained about her lot in life and picking the short straw. She was a stern Mother who never puts up with any foolishness from any one; she did her duties by her family, friends and community; lived an exemplary life serving her God and most of all was there to provide care and support for those who needed her services. She was a tower of strength when dad and later her mum took sick and she eventually had to go out and worked like a man to make sure her family had bread on the table.
I was in my early teens when dad took sick and over the years I watched as the burdens of life took their tools on MUM, but she never once shirked her responsibilities to her family. It breaks my heart each time I called to speak to her and sometimes she has retreated to a world of her own where even I her only daughter cannot intrude. And then when she has some clarity and says things like you are so far away and don’t have money to come and look for me…? It makes matters even worse. But I have to deal with the realities of life and know that I have to continue working hard in the UK despite whatever may befall me in order to afford to give MUM a better quality of life. So it is with a heavy heart I sit here and write this tribute to my MOTHER for the years of dedicated services she has provided. I know I have inherited all Mama’s traits and there is no escaping, but I hope I’ll be able to conduct myself with as much Dignity dealing with what life throws at me.

I was targeted at NWS 2017 after the end of the ET when Liz Roberts gets 2 Young White Men to stalk me.

I was targeted by a Young White Girl who assaulted me and tried to grab my mobile phone. When I moved away from her, she ran off saying she was going to call Security. This means this was premeditated.
Next day I was targeted because I was attended her Seminar to find out which of my Intellectual Property she was using. What I see happening when she turned up late triggered my PTSD. Throughout the Seminar there was a Security pacing up on down the doorway. I did not return to the NWS since.

Hello and welcome to the first edition of the BLAC Awards Newsletter. We at the BLAC Awards are privileged to publish our first Newsletter as an inspiration to anyone who reads this. We want to encourage people from all walks of life to contribute to creating the legacies. As we have had the foundations laid by the pioneers in their field, and more importantly from our ancestors. The BLAC Awards and that of our Partners, Sponsors, and the local and international community, gives priority in publishing a Newsletter so that everyone has the chance to have their stories told. In the words of Nelson Mandela, “The Purpose of Freedom is to Create for Others”. My multiple identities make it important for me to accept my uniqueness, inherited from my ancestors from whichever continents they were born, and to count my blessings for being born in Jamaica where it takes a village to raise a child. I can forewarn the reader that this child’s “Personal Experiences” of childhood traumas did not make me the ideal child to be raised. I can say with pride that my “Personal Challenges” from the time my father was stricken with Parkinson’s disease helped to shape my life into the person I am today. This is the primary reason I am ready to find my purpose as a member of the BLAC Awards team. I am looking forward to learning new skills and the empowerment to help others who might have been on journeys throughout their lives. I can give my testimony that Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and my Mental and Physical Impairments did not define me, however, I must use my voice to help the voiceless who are made voiceless, vulnerable victims by systematic discrimination. Those feelings are brought to you by thousands of progressive organisers across the country https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/5/4/troubled-histories-uk-caribbeans-on-king-charles-and-the-royals... Between them, they’ve helped elect hundreds of Labour, Liberal Democrat and Green councillors. They’ve given us a traffic light Britain. Each party will claim that these victories are theirs and theirs alone. But local organisers know firsthand that we need all progressives to do well to unstick the glue of First Past the Post. From Hazlemere to East Hertfordshire, from Stratford to South Gloucestershire, progressives are winning seats and councils by cooperating not competing. This traffic light squeeze is maximising the efficiency of our anti-Tory vote. In many of these seats, Compass local groups have been working to build trust and a united front against the Tories. But there are no guarantees. Local elections expert Professor Michael Thrasher is predicting that Labour will be the largest party after the general election…. but will not have a majority. That means that tactical voting and campaigning can make a huge difference in securing a vital change of government. And that’s up to you. Up to us. Because today we also saw too many progressive tragedies: where we divided, Tories conquered. From the grassroots, we see this wrong being put right. This work takes many forms – quiet conversations, putting up paper candidates or publicising tactical voting advice. But in too many places, activists are doing this in secret for fear of recriminations from party officials. This is the madness of our tribal politics we must break. Meanwhile, voters are miles ahead. They’re not asking for a change, they’re making it. We need you to be part of this movement that’s defying the system to deliver progressives into power. What we’re doing is against the grain – of First Past the Post, of tribal party politics and of short-term competition. But it’s succeeding, because voters can see that the future is about co-operation and alliances. And Compass members aren’t letting up. At Compass HQ we’ve spent the whole day shouting about the people that made these headlines. Like Vikki in Stratford, who told us “Under First Past The Post it makes sense to concentrate your resources where you have the best chance of winning. This seems to have been the case here in Stratford.” Or Graham in Canterbury, celebrating this morning:“Canterbury is not any longer a Tory area. There has been some sensible tactical voting and obviously some paper candidates are doing less campaigning in areas where they can’t win.” Steve Ringham was proud that “in Runnymede we didn’t stand candidates where either opposition leaders were up for re-election, because we’re all working together to unseat Conservatives. This is the first time since Runnymede was formed in 1974 that it wasn’t led by the Conservatives.“ And Anthea in Berkshire, who this morning was celebrating a success months in the making – “We’ve seen some incredibly promising cross-party working in Bracknell Forest, where Labour and the Liberal Democrats have agreed to stand aside for one another. Nobody involved has publicised it at all, but we’re really pleased to see it and we hope it could set a standard for progressive parties elsewhere in the country. Despite the hostility of national party HQs towards cross-party working, progressive voters and activists in Berkshire are coming together to unseat the Tories.” Elsewhere, our Oxfordshire group were toasting their triumph. After a lively training event run with Compass staff, they’ve been hitting the streets to spread the word for several weekends running. They celebrated the decisive return of a coalition council today, as voters backed a progressive alliance that had already delivered. This was a theme of this year’s locals, as we saw the runaway re-election success of progressive coalitions, too many to count: Southend-On-Sea, Colchester, West Oxfordshire, Sheffield, Milton Keynes, North Hertfordshire, Tunbridge Wells, Burnley… It’s not just about winning together, but governing better together. This was a test run for the next general election – Compass and its activists passed the test. Now let’s do it at the General Election. Come and be part of that success.
