HI All MA Special Educational Needs (CF2003) NONSEM2122 We are were all so pleased to see you last night and get going with the course (or continue). Thank you for being so engaged. We are looking forward to next week already.
For those of you going to campus tonight you are in Room ED2.01 with Louise and you. will have heard from her and had your invites via Moodle and/or TEAMS.
Now we all know each other and have ironed out some teething issues (or working on some) I am going to ask that we keep this TEAMS pages to course specific issues, questions and information sharing. Only so that we do not all end up having to search through conversations that do not concern us to work out what on earth we need to know.
If you want to create learning groups or discussion groups so you can work together to discuss readings, ask for help from your peers, develop a reading group, share ideas, further research you may find interesting yourselves and to ask each other questions you can create your own TEAMS groups. Please do this with people you are meeting as this is a lovely way to communicate with each other across your course. You can do this from the landing page of TEAMS so have a look and see how you get on.
Remember to keep an eye on your UEL emails and Moodle announcements. Enjoy your week everyone.

Hello All MA Special Educational Needs (CF2003) NONSEM2122
We are all really looking forward to meeting you if we have not met before. It is so exciting to be teaching you all in person this term too. Let’s hope this continues this year and we are all able to stay safe and well.
Hopefully all NEW students have received information about induction. If not please make contact with the student hub. 0208 223 4444 or email thehub@uel.ac.uk. Please also join us for induction on Wednesday 22nd September 2021 in UH3.03 on the Stratford campus at 5:30pm. There will be people around to help you find this room. Previous students are welcome to pop in and say Hi too, especially if you have not had the opportunity to be on campus as yet.
It is important that you have all looked at the relevant information below for the start of this term. Surveys will be open until the end of next week but please do complete as soon as you can if you have not done so already. Thank you all.

Hello All MA Special Educational Needs (CF2003) NONSEM2122
We are all really looking forward to meeting you if we have not met before. It is so exciting to be teaching you all in person this term too. Let’s hope this continues this year and we are all able to stay safe and well.
Hopefully all NEW students have received information about induction. If not please make contact with the student hub. 0208 223 4444 or email thehub@uel.ac.uk. Please also join us for induction on Wednesday 22nd September 2021 in UH3.03 on the Stratford campus at 5:30pm. There will be people around to help you find this room. Previous students are welcome to pop in and say Hi too, especially if you have not had the opportunity to be on campus as yet.
It is important that you have all looked at the relevant information below for the start of this term. Surveys will be open until the end of next week but please do complete as soon as you can if you have not done so already. Thank you all.

It includes the Reorientation and International Travel Advice handbooks. Please also ask complete the ‘Continuation’ survey which is clearly marked via a big image button.

HI All MA Special Educational Needs (CF2003) NONSEM2122 We are were all so pleased to see you last night and get going with the course (or continue). Thank you for being so engaged. We are looking forward to next week already.
For those of you going to campus tonight you are in Room ED2.01 with Louise and you. will have heard from her and had your invites via Moodle and/or TEAMS.
Now we all know each other and have ironed out some teething issues (or working on some) I am going to ask that we keep this TEAMS pages to course specific issues, questions and information sharing. Only so that we do not all end up having to search through conversations that do not concern us to work out what on earth we need to know.
If you want to create learning groups or discussion groups so you can work together to discuss readings, ask for help from your peers, develop a reading group, share ideas, further research you may find interesting yourselves and to ask each other questions you can create your own TEAMS groups. Please do this with people you are meeting as this is a lovely way to communicate with each other across your course. You can do this from the landing page of TEAMS so have a look and see how you get on.
Remember to keep an eye on your UEL emails and Moodle announcements. Enjoy your week everyone.

Most if you have been able to meet your module leaders now and many of you met me (virtually) at the induction or teaching this week. It is really good to have you all back and to start a new academic year with you all.
As mentioned, this channel is for specific course discussions so we can easily find key information. In sharing that I forgot to say where to ask more specific questions or share specific concerns or highlight successes.
So , if you have concerns, questions or great things to say regarding your module. Questions about the content or module related in any way. Then these go to the module leader. Of course, please look at Track my future or ask peers too as the answer may be there.
If you have concerns, questions or great things to say regarding your course. Then these go to the course leader. This includes personal issues too that you may need to raise. The course leader is Tanya Cotier and you can send me information via the TEAMS chat.
Anything the module leader needs to pass to the course leader they will.
Anything the course leader cannot respond to will passed on to the relevant service or person.

I was fixated about Stockholm Syndrome and the impact on me since the death of my mother. I was motivated to challenge the notions that I made up disabilities when Student Finance England refused to accept my diabetes, arthritis and chronic pain Medical Reports and only the depression and chronic anxiety. For another person to write a response to my complaint like that of the who came to my house with ulterior motives and said I was tensing up so this was reason to handcuff me and take me out of my house half naked to protect 3 Officers beggars belief. I will leave the rest for anyone who is interested to know more about my passions to find out for themselves.

But am dyslexic and discovered I have the 5 traits of dyslexia from training. I experienced traumas and agrees with Bethany about the emotional aspects. The parents/carers are the children first teacher who know the children best. Working in partnership is key to meeting the needs of the child, parents and families. During my studies with the OU, I was able to develop relationship with parents as the practitioner who developed the listening ethos. My own personal experiences of having my first child misdiagnsed with multiple disabilities tells me the professionals do not always get it right. Reasons the child and parents voices must be heard. We get the best results working as a team.

Mathematics. I have never passed a maths examination in my life. However, I managed to get through life with what I was able to accomplish.

I made the lesson work for me by devising my own methods of getting through and achieving my potentials. I recalled in the early days at Secondary School I outsmarted my teacher by having a clean page of maths worked out when he does inspections. The maths Teacher was the Bible Knowledge Teacher. I passed BK with credit before going to SS. This was my strength. I am thankful to my maths & BK Teacher to this day. My mother was an older mum, I am an only girl and mum was not good at communicating. When I asked questions her answer was if you don’t know you will find out. In a sense the BK Teacher delivered some valuable lesson which helped me be the woman I am today. Although I was not able to do maths, some say I turned my mind against it

I have done PECS training & Makaton. Also done Dyslexia training and confirmed (Self Diagnosis) I have the 5 traits of dyslexia. But I survived until my PTSD was triggered 2 times after bereavement and losses.

So whilst Facebook was busy, getting into bed with LEYF Nurseries – #LEYF, continuing the Discrimination. I was busy making sure my face was all over cyberspace. I managed to knock Theresa May from page 1 to 2 at the Windrush 70 Service at Westminster Abbey.
I write Open Book to the PM. My petition for inquiring into the Early Years Sector was rejected because they claim the Employment Tribunal online judgement is defamatory, libellous, breach of confidentiality, etc, etc……
