    Dear Mervelee,

We are really looking forward to catching up with friends, both old and new, at this Wednesday’s networking evening!

Just a very short walk from Cannon Street (as well as Monument, Mansion House and Bank), The Wine Room @ The Vintry will provide the perfect venue to enjoy a drink, some food and great conversation.

Our networking evenings are renowned for the breadth of payments stakeholders who come along and the value of connections made. We have lost track of the number of new connections made, new ventures formed, new partnerships established, new customers acquired and new business done as a result of conversations had at our networking evenings over the years.    Date:    Weds 8th February
Time:    17:00 – 19:30 GMT
Venue:  The Wine Room
             @ The Vintry,
             Abchurch Yard,
             Off Abchurch Lane,

Whether it’s telling us about cancelled appointments or not getting the emotional support you need, we want to hear from you.          Diabetes is with you when you wake up, go to work, at every mealtime. So, we know how important getting the right care and support is to you. We need to make sure everyone – especially those with the power to make change – knows it too. We’re collecting real-life experiences to share in our reports, in the news, and with MPs and health decision-makers to bring our campaigns to life.        So, Mervelee, will you share your story with us?       We may have also asked you recently to take part in our quick survey. If you haven’t already, you can take the survey here.     The survey will give us up-to-date statistics to show the impact the backlog and the pressures on the NHS have had on diabetes care, which is incredibly valuable. But the statistics don’t show what life has really been like for you. The emotional and physical toll of cancelled appointments, or complications with your diabetes. That’s why we want to hear about your experience in your own words, Mervelee.   Will you share your story with us?     Thanks for everything you do,   Ek Diabetes UK Campaigns Team   PS You can also call our helpline from Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm on 0345 123 2399 to talk to one of our highly trained advisors, or email helpline@diabetes.org.uk – we’re here to support you.     Follow Diabetes UK   Get in touch   Contact us Jobs Useful information   About us Helpline Membership Our strategy     View our Privacy and Cookies policies.   Diabetes UK is the operating name of the British Diabetic Association, a charity registered in England and Wales (no. 215199) and in Scotland (no.
