28 December DE Police Apologise to Dalian Atkinson Family – Copyright Section 107 “Fair Use”

THE family of ex-footballer Dalian Atkinson has finally received a formal apology from police after a PC was jailed in June over his killing. MM Updates: Refer to MOPAC ComplaintReviews@mopac.london.gov.uk for how Mervelee Myers will use Emotional Regulation Treatment entrapment to name those involved in Hate Crimes by HMCTS and CJS and CPS protecting the scammers and pedophiles and trolls targeting me to cover discrimination and 2 miscarriages of justice https://www.gov.uk/employment-tribunal-decisions/ms-m-myers-v-london-early-years-foundation-2300047-2016

The former Aston Villa and Manchester City striker died after PC Ben Monk Tasered him three times before kicking him in the head. The officer, who lied about his criminal past to get into the force, was jailed for eight years. Chief Constable Pippa Mills sent a formal letter of apology, something she said she was obliged to write under the European Convention of Human Rights. MM Updates: Refer to 501 CAD/13/11/2021 by AS23N who was sent to my home when I called the Emergency Service and they could hear the commotion over the phone. This PC entered the premises where the glass to the door was broken and past the assailant, knocked on my door. When I invited him in he stated that the actions of the person who smashed the door and banging and rang my bell were not malicious. He claimed my drunken neigbour said I locked her out.   I explained if I had known it was my neighbour I would have gone to open the door and I should be given a chance to tell my side of the story. It was no surprise when I was accused of shouting and the PC threatening to leave. He eventually leave because he did not want to hear my story about how the Police negligence landed me in becoming the criminal needing ERT.

Kate Maynard, the family’s lawyer, said the official apology was “welcomed and overdue”. Dalian, 48, was suffering a mental health crisis when police were called to his childhood home in Shropshire, in August 2016. He had threatened his father, smashed a glass door pane, and was shouting in the street. MM Updates: The smashed glass door pane that the PC AS23N was not malicious must be accounted for by www.met.police.uk because the accusations that I locked out my neighbour could have led to me being assaulted. When I tried to reason with my neighbour I was threatened. I am a victim of abuse from my neighbour over the years since I moved here.  I since have resorted to making videos to safeguard my husband and me. Therefore the Duty Manager at Peckham Police Station which this reference 501/13/11/2021 referred to must be disciplined for continuing the discrimination against me. Police & Debbie https://youtu.be/mPq7O9LWI20 must be considered. I have a Chronic Anxiety diagnosis from July 2006 to do my Health & Social Care examination with the http://www.open.ac.uk because I do not have a Medical Diagnosis for Parkinson’s disease I cannot claim it as a disability. My http://www.aoug.org.uk  Health & Social Care course was sponsored by http://unison.org.uk which abandoned me when I needed support. In 2017 when UNISON overturned the government ET Laws for employees to pay fees to take employers to the Employment Tribunals, they claimed my case was closed. But http://www.voicetheunion.org.uk did the same to me. This time I did not resign so they charged me fees claiming I was working full time at Miscellaneous. I contributed to the Daily Express Mental Health Crusade.

Kicked

Monk Tasered him three times for a total of more than 80 seconds. The final burst from his Taser lasted 33 seconds – more than six times longer than is standard. MM Updates: I was assaulted at my home on 30/11/2020 when 4 PC led by Holly Sweeney came to murder me under cover of LEYF Margaret Horn Lecture to say I committed suicide. PC Nikki Wright claimed I was wrestling with PC Holly Sweeney and grabbed the Taser handle. In the same paragraph, they claim I was tensing up so 3 PC have to put me in handcuffs to protect themselves. Despite advice by http://www.healthmanltd.com to seek counseling to find out why I react the way I do about certain situations and was passed fit to return to work. The discrimination continued until I had the second nervous breakdown in a toxic work environment. I was issued with threats by http://www.bwbllp.com on 24/9/2015 and in August 2017 Bates Wells Braithwaite got https://www.facebook.com and https://www.twitter.com Legal Teams to contact me. I no longer have a Twitter account and is the target of FB since 18/9/2015 when they gave LEYF access to my account. From the response decision to my complaint about me grabbing the Taser handle of Nikki Wright the premeditated plan to Taser me like the former star is revealed.

As Dalian lay defenceless in the street, Monk kicked him hard in the head at least twice. MM Updates: View the Decision to my complaint to find the patterns of terrorism that the Police use against BLACK PEOPLE. Listen to Bully Boy Owen Pyle https://youtu.be/Vua-mm4ABjI and Southwark Police Station https://youtu.be/8g-7jUGZook my Defensive Practice. I arranged the Meeting because of my disabilities and not wanting to be having triggers to my PTSD. I was as defenseless as Dalian when I asked the PC at Walworth Police Station for help about the handcuffs hurting me. He provoked me and my PTSD was triggered. He asked me to bend over to loosen the handcuffs but did nothing.  When I turned around some of the Officers who gathered behind the van were holding mobile phones in their hands. Why was that? Because I was taken out of my house half dressed wearing only a shirt and shorts and barefoot.  The GP refused to give me a Medical Report.

He was rushed to the hospital but died an hour later. MM Updates: The discrimination by the Police who arrested me unlawfully, assaulted me, and had me in handcuffs that bruised me could have resulted in other underlying conditions of diabetes and arthritis triggered. I was scared of wetting myself or even messing with myself and losing my dignity. It was Sargent Patel who noticed the bruises on my hands from the handcuffs. The next day I noticed the bruises from the assaults and reported to the GP. My Medical Record submission was Case Management Court Order http://www.slam-iapt.nhs.uk/ along with the GP and Dentist reports.

Monk, now 43, claimed at Birmingham Crown Court he acted in self-defense but a jury found him guilty of manslaughter. He was cleared of murder. MM Updates: Refer to Police Came to Brutalise me https://youtu.be/VIAHqfnk6EK for some of my Defensive Practice in the public domain.

Monk avoided being sacked five years before the killing after it emerged he lied about his criminal past. He had been cautioned twice – for stealing from Woolworths and for drunkenness. But he failed to disclose the formal warnings when he applied to join West Mercia Police in 2001. The PC was the first police officer to be convicted of killing a member of the public since 1986. MM Updates: Am only lucky to be alive after the assaults on me by LEYF staff and trawling at the http://www.nurseryworldshow.co.uk. The Police made attempts to section me from a malicious report from www.peachespublications.co.uk  on 30/10/2017. After failing to act when I reported verbal threats from https://www.ryanclement.com who groomed Ms. Duncan. I reported an incident in February 2021 about a black man I reported who assaulted me because I did not have money to give him. I gave him money before but think his Mental Health was affected. Racial Profiling – Police in my Home https://youtu.be/fq8hE8gQQTM for more.

Ms Mills, who became head of the force last September, wrote in her letter: “A police uniform does not grant officers immunity to behave unlawfully or to abuse their powers. Ben Monk’s conduct was in direct contradiction to the standards and behaviour of the policing service.” She added: “I am deeply sorry for the devastating impact the actions of a West Mercia officer has caused you and I extend my deepest condolences to you all, and Dalian’s wider family and friends.” MM Updates: So why did the http://www.uel.ac.uk send PC Conway to my home on 21/10/2021 trying to force entry about another malicious report I said I was feeling suicidal when they were forcing me off the campus on 5/10/2021?

Police apologise to family for killing ex-footballer

Police have sent a written apology to the family of ex-footballer Dalian Atkinson, who died after being kicked in the head and tasered by an officer.

Atkinson, a former Aston Villa, Sheffield Wednesday and Ipswich Town star, died in hospital after PC Benjamin Monk used excessive force while arresting him near his childhood home in Telford, Shropshire, in August 2016.

Monk was convicted of manslaughter and jailed for eight years in June this year after jurors heard he fired a Taser three times, including a single 33-second discharge, and left two bootlace prints on Atkinson’s forehead. He was dismissed from West Mercia Police the following week.

Pippa Mills, who took over as chief constable of the force in September, has now written to Atkinson’s family to formally apologise.

In the correspondence, she wrote that due to the European Convention on Human Rights, there was an “obligation” for her to write to them on behalf of the force to “acknowledge and accept” his human rights were breached in this case.

The letter said: “A police uniform does not grant officers immunity to behave unlawfully or to abuse their powers. Ben Monk’s conduct was in direct contradiction to the standards and behaviour of the policing service, and understandably undermined public confidence.”

She added: “I am deeply sorry for the devastating impact the actions of a West Mercia officer has caused you and I extend my deepest condolences to you all, and Dalian’s wider family and friends.”

Ms Mills also said she recognised the incident was “devastating” for the family, adding: “I cannot imagine the immense pain you have felt and how the significant delays with the trial have also added to your burden of grief. You have demonstrated great strength and dignity throughout the past five years.”

The family’s lawyer, Kate Maynard of Hickman and Rose solicitors, said in a statement the official apology was “welcomed and overdue”.

“The chief constable’s acknowledgement that a police uniform does not grant immunity is especially pertinent in a year that has seen other terrible examples of deadly police violence,” she said. “With the first conviction of a serving police officer on a manslaughter charge connected with his policing duties in over 30 years, it is hoped that this will serve as a deterrent, and also embolden those who seek police accountability.”

West Mercia Police was contacted for comment.

THE chief constable of West Mercia Police has formally apologised to the family of exfootballer Dalian Atkinson over his death.

Atkinson, a former Aston Villa, Sheffield Wednesday and Ipswich Town star, died after Pc Benjamin Monk used excessive force in kicking the 48-year-old in the head at least twice and also used a Taser on him.

The footballer died in hospital after losing consciousness following his arrest near his childhood home in Meadow Close, Telford, Shropshire, in August 2016.

The letter, seen by the PA news agency, is from Pippa Mills, the new head of the force, who took over from Anthony Bangham in September.

In the document, she wrote that due to the European Convention on Human Rights, there was an “obligation” for her to write to them on behalf of the force to “acknowledge and accept” that his human rights were breached in this case.

Monk was convicted of manslaughter and jailed for eight years in June.

Jurors heard he fired a Taser three times, including a single 33-second discharge, and left two bootlace prints on Atkinson’s forehead.

Monk was subsequently dismissed from the force the following week.

“You have demonstrated great strength and dignity throughout the past five years.”

The family’s lawyer, Kate Maynard of Hickman and Rose solicitors, said in a statement the official apology is “welcomed and overdue”.

“The chief constable’s acknowledgement that a police uniform does not grant immunity is especially pertinent in a year that has seen other terrible examples of deadly police violence,” she told PA.

“With the first conviction of a serving police officer on a manslaughter charge connected with his policing duties in over 30 years, it is hoped that this will serve as a deterrent, and also embolden those who seek police accountability.”

West Mercia Police has been contacted for comment.
