> I wanted to reply immediately to let you know that your email has been received safely. As you can probably guess, I receive a large amount of emails and letters each day, and I will respond as soon as I can. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to reply to mass email campaigns sent via a website or campaigning organisation, and personalised correspondence from constituents will always be given priority.
> If you haven’t done so already, I would be grateful if you could let me know your full details, including your postal address, on each email you send to allow me to confirm that you are a South Swindon resident or acting on behalf of one. Sometimes, people get in touch on behalf of a friend or relative. If that person is an adult, I will require some kind of written authorisation from them.
> Due to parliamentary protocol, I cannot handle cases or reply to queries which originate outside of my constituency of South Swindon.
If you are not a resident of South Swindon constituency but you are contacting me in my capacity as Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice, your correspondence will not be replied to or dealt with via this inbox. Please use this link to contact me using the MOJ contact form : https://contact-moj.service.justice.gov.uk/ or get in touch with your own MP using http://findyourmp.parliament.uk/and your postcode, to find them, and ask your MP to write to me on your behalf.
> Coronavirus: A Statement from Rt Hon Robert Buckland QC MP
Covid 19 is the biggest health emergency of recent times and it is vital that we continue to follow the latest Government guidance and stay alert as we move into the next phase .
My South Swindon Constituency office will continue to focus on supporting those constituents who require urgent assistance relating to Covid 19.
We are continuing to use remote technology and telephones wherever possible, instead of face to face meetings as the office is a small space.
For those looking for general NHS or Government guidance and advice on Coronavirus, please visit https://www.robertbuckland.co.uk/coronavirus.
Please be patient with us over other matters at this time.
> If you are a constituent with an urgent local issue , please telephone my Swindon office on 01793 533393 and leave a message and one of my team will ring you back. Please address any written correspondence for me to 29B Wood St, Swindon SN1 4AN
> Finally, I will be sending e-bulletins from time to time, updating constituents on what I am doing as an MP, so please let me know if you would like to receive this.
