Let me share my positive experience at the Croydon Magistrates today and leave the negative for another time. I am starting with the Security I wrote about on my first visit on the 16/4/2021 who triggered my PTSD. Before going any further let me say I blame the Security behaviour on lack of training. Therefore, Robert Buckland, Justice Secretary, Lord Chancellor must step up to the plate with the Charter Of Rights so that staff are trained to deal with the people they have to deal with in any situations in the public domain.
After my encounter with the Security who I learnt share the name KEVIN with my first son, I want to say that this young man is a decent bloke who might be overwhelmed by his duties. That is why am making it my business saying I identified him in person but I came across a different personality today. To hear him apologising and he was so courteous as he went about doing his job, am proud to say I will always give credit where it is due. Am sure Kevin has learned from his experience with me on my first visit, and more so because I did not write him off as a person and treated him with the respect he is due.
His area of work is not one of the easiest and we must work together to make the society we live in a better and safer place for everyone. I am more than honoured in saying that because of the person who I am, calling a spade what it is, instead of a shovel, Kevin might not be aware that in doing his work to the best of his ability he caused me concerns. I am glad I approached him as I would my sons and he was gracious to talk to me. Even if he believes am too young to be his mother.
In ending let me say that Kevin can only deliver the best service in his Job Descriptions if he is given the tools to do the job. I can see the potentials in Kevin. This is my complement to Kevin for the way he acted today. I am appreciative and I want the Croydon Magistrates Court to know that I am doing them a duty by highlighting the positive and negative. That way they can apply measures.
Once more KEVIN you are a STAR. Nuff Jamaican LOVE and RESPECT for the way you carried out your duties today. We can learn from each other. Credit to your parents and your mother in particular. I must remember to ask which Kevin you were named after?? The http://judicialconduct.judiciary.gov.uk can learn from Security KEVIN
