My name is Mervelee Myers and I have been working with young children for many years across continents. I was a #BasicSchoolTeacher in the West Indies, preparing children for going into #PrimarySchool. I am now a qualified #EarlyYearsPractitioner after studying in the UK at Lambeth College and the The Open University to gain qualifications from level 2, 3, 4 and 5. Attending trainings with the Local Educational Authority, NHS, other providers and doing #onlinetrainings as well as the inhouse trainings at the workplaces.
Over the years I make use of the opportunities available to me, some of the times using my initiatives to enable me to gaining a number of qualifications from reputable institutions. My qualifications are inclusive of certificates in Working with Children and their Family, Foundation Degree in Early Years, Health and Social Care Level 2 and BTEC National Diploma Level 3. I have worked in other early years settings in the Private Sector across London before starting my employment with Westminster Children Society (WCS) on the #1stSeptember2009. I was based in #Fitzrovia, until I was transferred to #LutonStreet Community Nursery now London Early Years Foundation (#LEYF) in March of 2010. I have held down roles and responsibilities for which I was accountable being #RoomLeader for the Toddlers, #PersoninCharge of a Preschool, #GroupSupervisor, #EYFSCoordinator, Special Educational Needs Coordinator (#SENCO) and #BehaviourManagementCoordinator.
I am wavering my mind whether I should continue with studies…? But my aims and objectives are to return to my country of origin to work from a shared vision to implement and promote #inclusiveprovisions for children with SEND.
In the meantime I will continue doing what I consider I am good at by dedicating myself to laying a #solidfoundation for the young children who are left in my care. I am #passionate about working with young children.

Welcome to the life of #MERVELEEMYERS. In case anyone thinking I have it easy, I don’t want to work, etc, etc… Nothing could be further from the truth. Since work was my purpose in life before to let me deal with the #POSTTRAUMATICSTRESSDISORDER that blighted my life, I just wanted to know I could provide for myself.
After what LEYF Nurseries done to destroy my life from after I come back from #MamaFuneral, I realised how much I was trying to hold unto the job. Because my previous experience in another workplace told me that you must not #RESIGN no matter what…
But when matters become unbearable, my little breda Ervin Nembhard told me “make your #Husband your priorities… Thanks to him my #DefensivePractice was updated.
This morning bring back to me the way how my life was spiralling out of control at BIB, HOC and then NC… I recall the morning I had to rush out before Tom was fully recovered to get to work. I ask the manager #MarionBreslin to let me call my husband to find out how he was doing… my stories are documented.
That’s why I want to write a #BLOG defending the PM Theresa May. She don’t deserve what is happening to her, I can tell you because I was label as #UURICA_LE. From thence I was left feeling like a zombie. (Edit 19/6/2018: I am sorry but I am having a rethinking of who I thought the PM is/was because of the way I am been treated by the UK Government, http://www.gov.uk.
Since Tom went to #KingsCollegeHospital, we have not been able to stabilise the sugar. I went out yesterday to get glucose tablets. He is now like my big old baby. I am lucky the Diabetic Nurse give me tips that I used to stop him going into hypo quicker. I still have a life, but I Owe him a duty of care which is paramount. That’s why these days my life is planned around him.
I am going to training with my tutor and assessor at the #NationalCouncilforVoluntaryOrganisations. So Olive Regis-Williams, sorry I missed you last night, but I have done my best for Tom and going to get ready. I have to be early to lost and find my way. Remember I have Dyslexia combined with the #OCD. That’s why my bag of goodies always with me.

I will open that letter tomorrow to look what the fuck appeal they talking about? I have appeal from the Judgemental Employment Tribunal. Appeal from the fucking Racist Police. And now from the crablouses at the DWP. But since I did not get the letter from that frigging bitch that is set to divide and rule Barbara Clarke I want to know what fucking appeal?
